About the role
The role will be to amplify Mimecast's relationships with the designated SI('s) to create new Enterprise level opportunities and build revenue lines for both Mimecast and the System Integrator(s).
A crucial part of your role will be to craft a business and marketing plan with the custodian of the Mimecast relationship within the SI, and to track your progress methodically and consistently. You will be keen and able to work around obstacles to your progress, to ensure that agreed metrics are achieved.
Who we are looking for
You must be an experienced Enterprise sales executive, familiar with the internal workings of a large System Integrator.
You will be an expert in applying product knowledge and commercial acumen to all business units within the SI to present a compelling partnership proposition, after leveraging existing networks to gain introductions as needed. You will be tracking these opportunities created in this way through to closure with our field sales team, ultimately building upon your mandate for revenue creation and customer acquisition.
You will be a self-starter and infectiously positive to all those around you, comfortable interfacing with sales resources, sales managers and executives.
Essential Skills and Experience:
The successful candidate must:
- Have at least 5 years IT solution Selling experience;
- Working experience with a high profile re-seller or Partner;
- Clear understanding of cloud based email management solutions Demonstrate strong relationship-building skills;
- Have a keen ability to work within complex ecosystems;
- Demonstrate the ability to work in a strategic way, while maintaining a keen eye on the detail;
- Be comfortable in initiating discussions within new, unfamiliar or competitive relationships;
- Be able to work according to deadlines.
